Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdul-Hussain Al-Asfoor, received the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Steven Bondy and Head of the embassy’s Political and Economic Department Elizabeth Hattingh.
The Northern Governor welcomed the ambassador, lauding deep bilateral relations and cooperation and common keenness to further bolster them. He also expressed happiness about the recent inauguration of King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali. He described the opening of the hospital as an assertion of solid relations between both countries.
The US ambassador thanked the Northern Governor for the gracious welcome, lauding the programmes held by the Northern Governorate mainly at the health, sport and social level.
