Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor chaired the weekly consultative meeting of the Governorate officials.
The Northern Governor reviewed the agenda indicating the beginning of planning to celebrate the accreditation of A'ali a Healthy City in the coming time and developing the post accreditation health plan and also thanked the heads and members of the Healthy cities Programme Coordinator’s office for their effective efforts which led to the accreditation.
The Governor welcomed Captain Mahmood Al-Awainati, a security coordination officer in the Governorate for forming a team tasked with analyzing risks and developing contingency plans in line with the requirements of Civil Protection in the Governorate and in accordance with the national strategy for civil emergencies and the work programme of the National Committee for Disaster Response while being a link to start work on preparing and maintaining the shelter centres for the swift response and effectiveness during emergencies.
The Governor praised the success of the Governorate in organising the National Sports Day in the Kingdom.
Other agendas of the meeting included the presentation on the importance of taking vaccines and immunization against seasonal diseases and praising the inductive report on the health rates in the villages and regions of the governorate presented by The Secretary of the Coordinating Council.
