With his sincerity, giving, and dedication to the security work, the late retired Brigadier Ali bin Duaij Albinali was the first who occupied the position of inspector General in the Ministry of Interior in 2005.
Since his appointment in 1968, he worked in a number of security locations, including the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, Al-Khamis Police Station, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and the General Directorate of Guards.
He was honoured and appreciated throughout his security service, as he won many medals. In 1983 he won the Security Medal for long service for 15 years, in 1986 he won the Security Medal for long service for 20 years, in 1991 he won the Security Medal for long service for 25 years, and in 2000 he won the Security Medal for distinguished work from First class, in 2000 the Shaikh Isa Era Medal of the first degree, and in 2001 the Security Medal for Service Appreciation of the First Class and many others.
A number of retired officers recalled his sincerity and dedication to work, as they described him as having good morals and tact in saying and speaking, in addition to his remarkable activity in the field of police work, as he practiced it with perfection, accuracy and reliability. They added that over the years, the late had moved- up the career until he became the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior. They also added that the late was one of the best officers of the Ministry of Interior, and those who served the Ministry with all dedication and sacrifice.
