President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the e Zakat, Tax and Customs Conference in Riyadh that was held from February 8 to 9. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) Mohammed Al-Jadaan. The President of Customs highlighted steps Customs Affairs took to facilitate trade through the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programme. The two-day conference is held under the theme: “An Integrated Digital Ecosystem for Sustainable Economy and Improved Security," with the participation of several ministers and secretaries general of regional and international authorities, and experts and specialists in the Zakat, tax and customs sector.
