The Directorate of Alternative Sentencing of the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing has taken part in the INJAZ Career Expo 2023. The participation was part of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to promote community partnership.
In the presence of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Bahrain, Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC), Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, the first edition of Expo inaugurated.
Held under the patronage of HEC Secretary-General, INJAZ Career Expo 2023 is organised at the American University of Bahrain by INJAZ Bahrain, a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, and Junior Achievement Worldwide, the largest global non-profit youth organisation, in cooperation with several governmental and non-governmental entities.
The directorate highlighted its role in providing job opportunities for alternative penalty beneficiaries and informed students attending the event of helping the beneficiaries integrate into society. Some of the beneficiaries attended the expo to explore job opportunities.
