The World Health Organisation (WHO) has accredited Aali as a healthy city. The WHO Regional Director handed the accreditation certificate for the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr Ahmed Al-Mandhari, to the Northern Governor, Ali bin Al Shaikh Hussain Al Asfoor. Health Minister Dr Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad, Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Waleed Khalifa Al Manea and other officials attended the event.
The Health Minister expressed appreciation for the achievement and hailed the role of the Northern Governorate in the accomplishment.
The Governor expressed happiness about the achievement and thanked His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his support.
