Deputy Chief of Cyber Operations of the National Cybersecurity Centre Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa chaired Bahrain delegation participating in the first meeting of the Executive Committee for Sybersecurity in the GCC. The meeting was held via visual communication with the participation of Undersecretaries and deputies GCC cybersecurity authorities and Centres, directors of the National Cybersecurity Centre and a number of officials at the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security.
The agenda included discussing the tasks of the Ministerial Committee for Cybersecurity . The meeting also discussed common cyber aspects among the GCC countries.
Joint procedures among the GCC countries were reviewed with regard to addressing cyber threats and attacks, in addition to discussing ways of Gulf and international cooperation and exchanging experiences related to cybersecurity .
