Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, chaired the Bahrain delegation at the World Police Summit in Dubai. The Chief hailed the summit’s goals to enhance police work and achieve security and safety for global nations. He highlighted that organising security programmes, conferences and exhibitions as part of the summit of this global event is essential to enhance police work and limit crimes and cybercrimes.
He indicated that participation in this summit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's strategy to develop its capabilities and learn about the experiences of other countries, expressing his thanks and appreciation to Lt-General Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, for the kind invitation, noting the excellent organisation and successful preparation of the summit, which will have a significant impact on achieving the desired goals.
The accompanied delegation included the Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security and officers.
