The Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security asserted on Wednesday that the monitoring and follow-up operations indicated that some exploit social media by circulating posts against civil peace, social stability and safety of the community.
He highlighted that those who repost posts or write supportive comments for accounts that promote incitement would be held legally accountable. He noted the importance of wisely using social media and enhancing awareness of the risk of misusing social media platforms to protect the law and the values of Bahraini society.
