Director-General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa has received a Member of the Council of Representatives, MP Jameel Mulla Hassan. He welcomed the parliamentarian and highlighted the directorate's role in expanding the Alternative Sanctions and Measures Law implementation and the start of the open prison programme. In addition, he highlighted the goals of the Fael Khair service to promote social solidarity by accepting donations from those in jails for unpaid loans. The MP expressed thanks and appreciation for the role of the General Directorate in promoting community partnership.
