Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the finale of the Police Open Cricket Championship. Organised by the Public Security Sports Association, the event was held at Bapco Cricket Playground in Awali with the participation of 16 teams from the Interior Ministry. The Special Security Force team won the competition.
The Chief expressed thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Interior Minister for his support of sports activities by directing to promoting the physical fitness of employees and meeting the requirements of all sports events. He also thanked the participating teams and the role of the association in promoting the performance of all sports teams. At the end of the ceremony, the Chief handed the trophy to the winning team and distributed the gold medals among the winners.
