The General Directorate of Civil Defence has held an evacuation exercise at the Gulf Hotel in Adliya. The evacuation scenario began when the alarm bell, as the hotel security and safety officials, under the supervision of the specialised civil defence team, guided all employees and hotel visitors outside at the safe gathering points through emergency exits.
The team confirmed that the drill was within the framework of the virtual evacuation operations carried out by the General Directorate of Civil Defense to ensure the readiness of facilities for emergencies by ensuring that they apply public safety requirements for vital facilities, as the evacuation experience. The exercise converted 689 employees and hotel visitors were evacuated.
