Participants in the dialogue session, which was held within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Community Partnership and belonging to the National, praised the role and efforts of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior Chairman of the Follow-Up Committee for the implementation of more initiatives, which are included in the national plan, which faced in 2023 a digital transformation, noting that these efforts are appreciated, especially since 85% of the total 107 initiatives are in the implementation stage within the five tracks, which are belonging, public relations, media, curricula and legislation .
They explained that the national plan, since its launch in 2019, has gone through three phases, the first phase which included the adoption, planning and implementation of initiatives in parallel with its communication plans and the launch of a study and measurement of national indicators for "Bahrainouna". While the second phase included the implementation of ongoing and new initiatives, continuous follow-up and increased interaction. The third stage, included reviewing the initiatives and reviewing the impact based on the key performance indicators.
The dialogue session, which was moderated by Dr. Youssef Mohammed, Director of the Media at the Ministry of Information Affairs, a member of the Executive Office of "Bahrainouna", reviewed a series of initiatives that have been developed in the recent period and the efforts that are being made in this regard.
Ms. Latifa Al-Bunoudha, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and a member of the Executive Office of "Bahrainuna", presented what has been done in the project of schools promoting citizenship and human rights, where she indicated the focus on the values of citizenship and human rights, tolerance and moderation, and contributing to confronting the culture of hatred and extremism, and promoting moderation and openness.
She explained that the evidence and indicators include a decrease in undesirable practices and phenomena among students, especially among students in the first intermediate grade, and a clear decline in the rates of behavioral violations recorded among students,
As for the "Digitalization of Watani" initiative, which was presented by Ms. Hala Suleiman, Director of the Executive Office of "Bahrainuna", she indicated that the target group for Watani magazine is from 6 to 12 years old and covers 113 public schools and 80 private schools, in addition to institutions and centres for children, pointing out that the goal of the initiative is inculcating the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the nation, spreading the culture of security and public safety, adhering to customs and traditions and instilling Islamic values.
She added that the vision of Watani magazine includes community partnership, security and safety for all, and civic education, noting that among the achievements is a national application for mobile phones and computers, printing issues of the magazine in Braille and reaching issue 100.
For her part, Dr. Wafaa Al-Sharbaty, Director of the Health Promotion at the Ministry of Health, reviewed the Healthy Cities initiative, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the governorates. The Healthy Cities Programme is one of the preventive programs of the World Health Organization, which aims to promote health.
Al-Sharbaty drew attention to 4 healthy cities, "Manama, Busaiteen and Al-Sayah, Umm Al-Hassam, A'ali", 20 health workplaces, 25 commercial complexes, and 300 volunteers (friends of health promotion).
Captain Khaled Al-Mutawa, Head of the Execution Branch at the Northern Governorate Police Directorate reviewed the “Fael Khair” initiative, as the idea of the programme was launched by His Director- General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in 2020, with the support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid. bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The criteria for the case study include: judgments, health status, number of children, analysis of information, age, marital status, physical condition and case study.
He explained that the donation is made through the "Benefit, Islamiyat, SADAD" applications, in cooperation with a number of influencers in social media and civil society institutions, pointing out that the achievements include 327 beneficiaries, while the number of files reached 807.
The "Volunteers Platform" initiative, which is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, was reviewed and introduced by Mr. Musaed Salman, Director of the Youth Empowerment, where he referred to the elements of the initiative, which were the National Record of Excellence (Gold Bank) and Youth City 2030, which includes 75 training programs. 70% of which are skill programmes. As for the Imtiaz and Riyada awards, it includes the Imtiaz award for the national clubs “Muharraq Club, Manama Club, and Saar Club,” while the Riyada Award for youth centres included “Shakhura Youth Centre, Abu Saiba Youth Centre and Sanabis Youth Centre.” While Bahrain festivals include 38 youth centres, 50 events and 7000 participants.
