The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has handed the first copy of the e-passport for the child Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Thawadi, in the presence of the Director of Passports Lt-Col. Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Duaj Al Khalifa.
The NPRA Undersecretary highlighted that the applications started to be received on March 20 after finalising the required technical procedures. Citizens could apply for a first-time passport and replace an expired passport or passport with a validity of less than six months validity. He asserted that the NPRA is dedicated to speeding up printing and issuing passports and providing the best services to citizens.
