His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa received in his office the President of Al Daih Youth Empowerment Centre, Dr Mona Ibrahim Fakher, and several other members, in the presence of Deputy Capital Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani.
As part of the meeting, the centre’s needs were discussed, along with the joint cooperation and coordination, in an effort to promote the principle of community partnership and to support programmes and activities to foster youth development and volunteerism.
HE Capital Governor expressed the governorate's keenness to monitor and follow up on the needs of the people of the district in various fields and to solve them in collaboration with the relevant authorities. He praised the efforts of those in charge of the Centre and their role in adopting initiatives that contribute to the advancement of society.
The President and members of the Centre expressed their thanks and appreciation to HE Capital Governor for his continuous follow-up of the needs of the people and his keenness to support the activities and programmes that contribute to the development of society and the advancement of the youth.
