The General Directorate of Civil Defence continues to carry out its Ramadan safety campaign for Ramadan tents, Majalis and commercial malls. The campaigns target visitors to those places. The campaign is part of the annual general safety efforts. The campaign includes field visits to highlight safety conditions, such as issuing certain licences before setting up tents. People have been urged not to smoke inside tents and void the wrong electricity wirings. They were also informed on how to deal with certain incidents and accidents and provided with awareness publications. The campaign will continue until the end of Ramadan.
