The General Directorate of Civil Defence and the Supreme Council for Environment have held a coordination meeting. Both sides reviewed new requirements and conditions for buildings that use flammable cooling systems per the international civil defence standards to get ready to implement methods for cooling.
The meeting was part of the dedication of the civil defence and the council to promote the safety of citizens and residents, especially since such a technique has entered a new phase at the international level and was introduced in the Kingdom.
The meeting highlighted the need to update the safety requirements for buildings that use such systems according to international standards approved by the Civil Defence.
