The General Directorate of Civil Defence has held the periodic meeting with members of the Hazardous Substances Handling Committee to implement the ministerial order No. 100 of 2020 to discuss the latest happenings of the committee of representatives of police directorates to ensure the precautionary measures for safety storing of hazardous substances.
During the meeting, the risk assessment steps and the monitoring mechanism for the storage sites of hazardous materials were discussed, and the executive levels of control and inspection of these materials were discussed in order to reduce the potential risks while defining the necessary measures and procedures.
