The General Directorate of Civil Defence deployed the rescue and firefighting team shortly after receiving a case. The team extinguished a fire in a cooking area affiliated with a mosque in Hoora. One man was injured and referred to the hospital for treatment. The firefighting team consisted of 12 personnel and three vehicles. Details indicate that a gas cylinder lead was the cause.
The directorate calls upon citizens and residents to ensure the safety of gas connections and use safety tools such as fire detection, fire extinguishers, gas safety valve and fire blanket.
