Maritime patrols of the Coast Guard have rescued 5 individuals in two different cases after their boats were exposed to water leakage in the marine area near Al Dar Islands. The individuals are in good health condition.
Coast Guard clarified that it received a distress call from an individual, who was rescued at once. The Operation Room responded to the second call as maritime patrols headed to the location, rescued the individuals and towed the two boats to the coast.
The Coast Guard calls on all sea farers to check the weather and follow the instructions and warnings issued by the concerned authorities in this regard, in addition to providing safety equipment on boats.
