Within the framework of the training programmes implemented by the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing to rehabilitate inmates, the Alternative Sentencing Directorate of the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing held sports events.
Director-General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa honoured the first places winners to encourage the practice of sports, mental activities and reinforce the role of community partnership which can help in the gradual integration into society.
Director- General stressed on the role of the open prisons programme in the gradual integration into society, which would enhance development and growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain and contribute to reaching the main goal of the beneficiaries having an effective role in the society.
