Anti-Cyber Crimes Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has arrested two Arabs for carrying out scamming operations.
An investigation into received cases of individuals pretending to be company employees led to identifying and arresting them. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
The directorate called upon people not to respond to suspicious individuals or organisations and not reveal their personnel or bank details through the phone or any other methods. Cases could be reported through hotline 992 for the necessary steps.
