The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has headed Bahrain’s delegation in the meeting of the 32nd session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna held from May 19-27.
In his speech, he convoyed the greetings of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and his best wishes for the event’s success. He highlighted that the participation showcased Bahrain’s dedication to promoting international security cooperation.
He discussed the Kingdom’s crime prevention and criminal justice achievements, including implementing the Alternative Sanctions and Measures Law in 2018 as a project to promote criminal justice and human rights, along with the open prison programmes.
