The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested several suspects in separate cases. More than 3KG Hashish and narcotics, locally known as “Shabu”, worth more than BD74,000 were seized.
An investigation into the received information led to identifying and arresting the suspects. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
The directorate calls the public to report drug-related cases by calling hotline 996. Confidentiality is protected.
