As part of the series of panel discussions of the National Cyber Security Centre, a workshop was held in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
It was the first workshop aimed at discussing the importance of cybersecurity and related controls and procedures in the presence of representatives of both sides and telecommunications companies.
The workshop focused on a set of objectives, including the readiness of employees to protect communications networks and systems and to ensure a safe cyber environment for the Kingdom of Bahrain and for citizens and residents, in addition to briefing the telecommunications sector institutions on a project to prepare security controls for the telecommunications sector and taking the views of the most prominent telecommunications sector institutions with regard to cyber security.
