The Northern Governorate launched its summer programme with the participation of 110 male and female students ages 12 to 18 years old, at Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa School in Budaiya.
On this occasion, the Northern Governor Mr. Ali bin Shaikh Abdulhussein Al-Asfoor, praised the effort made by all directorates in the governorate in developing ideas and programmes in line with the objectives and vision of the governorate in its endeavor to adopt the Northern Governorate as a healthy governorate.
The opening included a review of the programmes that the activity will contain over a period of one month, and clarification of some organisational procedures, the transportation mechanism, and the necessary instructions to ensure the safety and security of the participants in the programme. A lecture on cybersecurity was presented byHead of the Information Systems Section in the governorate Wael Al-Fardan.
The programme will focus this year on innovative ideas that aim to enrich the awareness of the participants by adopting awareness programmes that are in line with the needs of the labor market and academic outputs, in addition to a special programme for people with autism spectrum disorder in cooperation with the Bahraini Autistic Society. It will also include many lectures, workshops and visits.
