The Southern Governorate Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Southern Municipalities, has organised inspection campaigns for abandoned houses and buildings to promote general safety and protect lives and property.
Owners of buildings with violations were notified to correct them, and legal procedures were taken against buildings with major offences.
