Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussein Al Asfoor held a coordination meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Works to discuss the development stages of the Janabiya road.
The Northern Governor confirmed, at the meeting that the project will improve traffic flow and street capacity. It is also important that places for pedestrian crossings and service streets that serve shops and garages in the area are allotted as part of the project.
A detailed presentation of all the development processes on the street and the stages of implementation was presented during the meeting and the conversion of the street into three lanes on both sides, which will help alleviate traffic congestion, in addition to the flyover project, which will boost the capacity at the junction.
