Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-Up, Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Dussairi, has inspected the King Fahad Causeway to oversee its readiness to accommodate the increase in travel movement during the Hajj season and Eid Al Adha. He also inspected the first phase of the expansion of the Causeway, which included the launch of five cabins for the exits.
He was informed of a plan to reduce the period to process paperwork before crossing the causeway through e-systems and deploying more staff. He hailed the efforts of the causeway’s employees for their hard work to eliminate any hindrance facing travellers.
The Assistant Undersecretary hailed the dedication of the Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa to ensure smooth traffic during the travelling seasons.
