Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa presented Business Intelligence course in the central financial system, which will be applied and linked with the Ministry's stores.The General Inspector at the Interior Ministry Major General Abdulla Mohammed Al Zayed and Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Brigadier Adel Abdulla Amin attended the workshop.
Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation confirmed that, in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance capabilities by using modern technologies to increase efficiency, and in implementation of the Ministry's strategy to develop its capabilities and expand the use of modern technological equipment, the Business Intelligence Programme was being applied with the competent Directorates in the Ministry, to develop purchasing plans, analyzing the movement of stored materials, and accelerating the decision-making process according to the highest levels of efficiency, in addition to identifying obstacles and working on developing radical solutions to address them.
She pointed out that the Business Intelligence Programme is a modern methodology for collecting various business data, analyzing it and creating visualisations from it in order to understand the current situation and previous trends and then form future visions that contribute to improving the decision-making process and raising the quality of work. Noting that the system was applied to the central financial system in cooperation With the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, where the Business Intelligence Programme worked through an interactive dashboard.
