Criminal Investigation Director-General hails Bahrain’s international anti-human trafficking accomplishment

The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has hailed the ongoing support of His Excellency Interior Minister to the directorate. He said that the instructions of HE Interior Minister contributed to Bahrain’s international human rights position within the "Tier 1" status for the sixth consecutive year in the US Department of State’s 2023 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, which is the highest annual international classification in this field.

He valued the efforts of the National Committee for Combatting Trafficking in Persons and its role in achieving international achievements. He also appreciated the efforts of the Anti-Human Trafficking Directorate. 

He said that the accomplishment is an international acknowledgement of the significant efforts of Bahrain in promoting anti-human trafficking efforts within the security and social systems.
