As part of its annual plan to promote general safety among seafarers, the Coast Guard has held an awareness campaign at Al Malkiya Beach. The activities were held in cooperation with Northern and Southern Governorate Police Directorates and the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture.
The campaigns highlighted general safety instructions, including not leaving children unattended, wearing lifejackets, and only swimming in swimming-permitted areas. They included the distribution of multi-language leaflets.
