The Anti-Corruption Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has arrested an accounting expert assigned by the concerned court for asking for a BD100,000 bribe to hand over documents he has. An investigation into the received case led to identifying and arresting the suspect red-handed while receiving the bribe. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
