The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has participated in the online event of the release of the World Drug Report 2023, launched by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The Director-General asserted the dedication of Bahrain to take part in anti-drug events to implement the vision of the Kingdom that is led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He hailed the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to promote international cooperation with all international anti-drug organisations and the support of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan to efforts to fight the spread of narcotics in society.
He thanked the UNODC for cooperating to protect societies from narcotics and drug addiction.
