The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested three suspects aged 40-43 for possessing narcotics worth BD35,000. An investigation into the received information leading to identifying, arresting the suspects and confiscating the illicit drug. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution. To promote community partnership, the directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report complaints, observations and assistance through the anti-drug hotline 996. Confidentiality is protected.
