The Land Customs Ports Directorate of Customs Affairs has foiled the trafficking of 4.690 KG of narcotics, locally known as “Shabu”, found in a vehicle coming through the King Fahad Causeway. The driver, 36, was arrested.
The vehicle was searched by the Police Dogs (K9) Units, in which the narcotics were found in different parts of the car. The drugs were seized and referred to the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science for legal proceedings.
