The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested, in two separate cases, five suspects aged 33-40 for possessing illicit drugs.
An investigation into the received information led to identifying and arresting the suspects and the narcotics were seized from them. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the cases to the Public Prosecution. The directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report complaints, observations and assistance through the anti-drug hotline 996 to promote community partnership. Confidentiality is protected.
