Chief of Public Security inspects security preparations during Ashoora

Per the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Chief of Public Security Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan has asserted that the concerned security authorities under the supervision of the Public Security Presidency have taken all arrangements and procedures to provide the required services for the success of Ashoora season.

The police directorates in governorates, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, National Ambulance, Special Security Force and the Operations Directorate cooperate with the governorates and concerned authorities to carry out the arrangements.

To promote community partnership, various coordination meetings were held for Mattams (Community Centres) managers to discuss organisational procedures. At the same time, the security directorates visited Mattams in various areas to ensure providing them with the required facilities to protect the religious and spiritual aspects of the occasion. Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Traffic has enforced a plan to regulate traffic around Mattams.
