His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received at his weekly Majlis dignitaries, senior officials, officers, and citizens, in the presence of Member of the Council of Representatives, MP Abdulla Khalifa Al Rumaihi, and Chairman of the Southern Municipal Council, Abdullah Ibrahim Abdullatif.
During the meeting, the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, emphasising keenness on continuous communication with the citizens and assessing their needs, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH the Southern Governor pointed out, the governorate is continuously committed to improving interactions with the public as part of the community partnership with different sectors. He said thata number of projects are being coordinated and monitored to meet future and sustainable visions and aspirations by conducting field visits and inspection tours.
He said that the governorate continues to follow up on plans for development and service projects to meet the needs and aspirations of the residents in an effort to optimise the services provided and to ensure that they reflect the growth and sustainability of the governorate.
HH the Southern Governor emphasized that the Southern Governorate was eager and committed to coordinating and arranging security with various security authorities during the Islamic month of Muharram, complying with the procedures, in order to create a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
He listened to the citizens’ proposals regarding security, social and service services, and emphasised.
The attendees expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Southern Governor for his continuous support and keenness to achieve comprehensive development to reach out to citizens’ needs.
