Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Interior Brigadier Hamoud Saad Hamoud affirmed the keenness of Legal Affairs to train its affiliates per the latest training and educational programmes to enhance their skills. He said that such efforts were part of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa's instructions to improve the workforce potential.
He highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in protecting national security by hindering cyber threats and developing protection standards.
In the same context, Legal Affairs has organised a lecture on cybersecurity in coordination with the National Cyber Security Centre. The lecture shed light on the global cybersecurity system and international and national efforts to protect cybersecurity in terms of international treaties and agreements, cybersecurity concepts and the employee's role in maintaining cybersecurity by applying best practices in the work environment, which would reduce cyber threats.
