Chief of Public Security inspects Ashoora security arrangements

Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has inspected security arrangements and services for the Ashoora season. The services and facilities are part of efforts to promote community partnership. The inspection tour included Mattams (Community Centres) and mourning processions in various areas in Bahrain. 

The Chief said that the tour was part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to ensure the safety and security of mourners during the season. He thanked official organisations and NGOs for their efforts to provide the required services. He also hailed the cooperation and coordination of heads of Mattams and Ashoora processions.
