Director of Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction chaired the Interior Ministry delegation to the 35th edition of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) conference in the United States.
Director of Maan (together) programme presented a workshop entitled "Peaceful Coexistence and Combating Extremism", during which he discussed the new curricula and aspects of international cooperation between Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, in addition to the approach to peaceful coexistence and combating the new extremism and its goals in coexistence and acceptance. Additionally, he discussed rejecting the concepts of intolerance and extremism among the youth to ensure intellectual security in the next generation. The workshop also included a review of application procedures, evaluation results, and the theoretical and practical framework for the field study of the curriculum in the Kingdom's schools.
The participants praised the level of the curricula and lessons for crime prevention, which reflect the professionalism of Team Bahrain in implementing “Together” programme, and achieving positive results that keep pace with new global challenges in effective and sustainable ways.
