The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has seized a 20KG drug locally known as “Shabu” worth BD1 million. Two Asinas arrested for manufacturing and drug and selling illicit drugs.
An investigation into the received information, including forming a security team that carried out security and legal procedures. The probe revealed that the suspects manufactured the narcotics in their homes and seized the drugs and manufacturing tools. An investigation will continue to identify other suspects. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
