The General Directorate of Civil Defence took part in the thirty-second meeting of the Directors- General of Civil Defense in the GCC countries. The meeting was held at the General Secretariat in Saudi Arabia.
In implementation of the directives of Their Excellencies GCC Interior Ministers, the meeting tackled ways and mechanisms of coordination in the field of civil protection and preventive safety as well as the enhancement of joint cooperation between the GCC states. Also , following- up the reports of the technical teams of public safety and the prevention of hazardous materials were also discussed.
The meeting also discussed activating joint cooperation in broadcasting awareness materials related to public safety and holding joint training courses.
