The Chief of Public Security attended on Thursday the final ceremony of the 14th summer camp of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) that was held in cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
The Chief asserted that the camp was part of the accomplishments of the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It was held per the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to encourage youth to improve their skills and capabilities.
He hailed the follow-up of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on the camp’s activities to ensure its success. He continued that the camp was part of the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna).
The Chief thanked parents for trusting RAP’s programmes and activities, valuing the participants' dedication and support of Tamkeen and other public and private organisations that contributed to the camp's success. He also appreciated the hard work and efforts of the organisers. He directed the RAP commander and the camp management to continue working to develop the camp's next editions to promote youth skills.
