Bahrain International Airport Police Directorate won the award for the best procedures in security airport in the Middle East, through the assessment issued by Airports Council International (ACI) for the second quarter of 2023.
Director- General of Ports Secuirty Colonel Ahmed Jasim Al Hitaimi, affirmed that the award was one of the development and modernisation strategy achievements adopted by His Excellency His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, followed-up by Chief of Public Security Lt. General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan to improve the performance of the Ministry's employees and provide the best services to the public. The Director- General expressed his thanks and appreciation to all employees of Bahrain International Airport Police Directorate, officers and individuals, praising their efforts and hard work.
Director of Bahrain International Airport Police Colonel Duaij Al Kuwari, stressed that the award reflected the continuity of the operations of the Airport Police Directorate, by continuing the efforts and conducting internal audits.
