Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs Colonel Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, visited the American University of Bahrain, during which he met with President of the University Dr. Bradley Kwok. Present were Director of Crime Prevention Ali Ahmed Amini and a number of university officials.
Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs confirmed that in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Community Police was working to implement the best practices to improve the security system, and to use technology and modern techniques in developing administrative, police and community work, in addition to Activating community partnerships with various civil society organizations.
For his part, Dr. Bradley Kwok expressed his thanks and appreciation to Colonel Ammar Al-Sayed, pointing to his future aspirations for cooperation and enhancing joint work with the Ministry of Interior.
Aspects of cooperation and coordination between the two sides were discussed within the strategic plans drawn- up to implement community programmes targeting all segments of society, including citizens and residents, to provide a safe environment in accordance with competitive and sustainable standards.
Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs also presented six books by the Community to the university library .
