The General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation affirmed that necessary measures have been taken after ten inmates ingested (hair shampoo). The inmates were immediately transferred to the Reformmation and Rehabilitation Centre’s clinic for First Aid medical treatment, and their health condition is stable.
The Directorate added that further to ensure the safety and well-being of the inmates, and as a precautionary measure, the Government Hospitals Directorate transferred them to one of the government hospitals to undergo further examinations and complete their treatment in line with the provision of comprehensive healthcare and a secure environment to all inmates, in accordance with the provisions of the Reformation and Rehabilitation Institutions Law.
