His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa paid a field visit to Al Hajiyat areas to get informed about citizens’ needs in various services and development. He was accompanied by the Director-General of Southern Municipality, Eng. Isa Abdulrahman Al Buainain, Head of the Southern Municipal Council Abdullah Ibrahim Abdullatif and a number of officials.
HH the Southern Governor affirmed keenness to follow up and assess citizens’ needs in cooperation with the concerned authorities and to continuously strive to develop the service and development sector, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He discussed the stages of projects implemented with officials of the concerned authorities and reviewed the quality of public services and facilities with regard to road network projects, stressing the importance of further optimising services to achieve citizens’ aspirations.
HH Southern Governor emphasised the continued support for communication and the rapid response to people's needs and suggestions through its communication channels. He directed the field monitoring team to follow up on these needs during field visits and inspections, He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, namely the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, the General Directorate of Civil Defencee, the Ministry of Works, the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs & Agriculture, and the Municipal Council.
