Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has taken part in an International Seminar on police work in cyberspace in Hong Kong.
He asserted that the participation in the event was part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and a follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, to know about expertise and latest smart technologies and solutions.
During the seminar, different organisational methods were discussed. The extent of their impact on police capabilities and a review of how to uncover technologies for the smart future, in addition to how to protect infrastructure through artificial intelligence and benefit from advanced technology, were reviewed.
On the sideline of the seminar, the Deputy Chief met the Hong Kong Police Chief, in which both sides reviewed cooperation and coordination between the two sides. The Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic also attended.
